"Work on the new album is moving along great.
"Well, we have for the first time ever written more songs than we need for an album. Everything isn't 100% finished, but everything is moving along great. No release date yet."

As promised, writer-director Rob Zombie has posted preview art from his post-Halloween effort Tyrannosaurus Rex. Alex Horley (Spookshow International) is the one responsible for the testosterone-fueled image you see below. This is the first time Zombie has come forward with anything that gives a glimpse of what's to come when Dimension Films releases T-Rex on August 28, 2009. What do you think of the art? Rob Zombie teased on his blog some huge news for his upcoming animated feature film Haunted World of El Superbeasto, which we're told might get a theatrical release this fall. ALSO "The one and only TURA SATANA from the one and only FASTER, PUSSYCAT! KILL! KILL! has reprised her lengendary role as VARLA in THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EL SUPERBEASTO! Rob Zombie has been posting his favorite summer movies on his blog at his Myspace.
Classic films are the theme of the Summer and we are currently on Week 3 of his weekly postings. So far here is the list for the movies for weeks 1 , 2 and 3.
Rob posts, "I watch a lot of fucking movies so I've decided to start a movie of the week recommendation. Some of these films are old, some are new, some are well known, some are not... basically it is whatever I feel like turning you folks onto.
Week 1 pick is : Cutter's Way (1981)
Week 2 pick is : PETULIA (1968)
Week 3 pick is : Twentieth Century (1934)

04.29.08 RON ZOMBIE Defends His Title belt!!!
Warhawk Rumble, is taking place Sunday May 4th at Bloomfield High School, Bloomfield, Connecticut.
Doors open at 3PM for an autograph session with the wrestlers and the show starts at 5.
The main event is a TNA World Heavyweight Championship match with Samoa Joe defending the title against Scott Steiner. Also in the show will be WWE's Jerry "The King" Lawler, "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal, "Velvet Sky" Talia Madison, and Roxxi Laveaux.
But here's the part all of us here at SMZ.Org and Rob Zombie Fans and friends will want to know!
The new Northeast Wrestling Heavyweight Champion RON ZOMBIE will be putting his title on the line against Xavier. So let your Sheri and Rob fans know that they should come out and support one of Rob's biggest fans.

FINALLY ~ Zombie recently confirmed last week that his next
live-action feature film will be called "Tyrannosaurus Rex". Rumors claim the movie is a biker flick and not about dinosaurs, the film is set for release on August 28, 2009. It will follow his hit 2007 remake of the horror classic "Halloween" and his upcoming animated film, "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto" both movie due to release this year.

Also, the last day of the tour for ROB ZOMBIE is now January 21st in TORONTO, CANADA at the Air Canada Centre ? so unfortunately any contest entries for the previously scheduled dates occurring after the Toronto show will be canceled.

RZ's UNRATED DIRECTOR'S CUT HALLOWEEN RELEASES ON DVD
12.06.07 Rob Zombie's DVD of his recent hit remake of "Halloween" is scheduled for release on December 18. Zombie said the package (cover artwork) will contain his "unrated" longer cut of the movie, loads of deleted scenes, documentaries and other bonus features. One thing it will not include, however, is the "workprint" version of the movie that leaked online prior to its theatrical release. Zombie told Bloody-Disgusting.com, "I don't know what this bullshit workprint is. Something got online which I never saw...the version from the day that someone decided to steal the movie and put it online is one of the 300 versions we were cutting. So I don't know what that is, but the one on the unrated DVD is not that."
Zombie also confirmed that recent rumors about him directing a remake of Eighties horror film "C.H.U.D." were "100% false," and that his "adult" cartoon, "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto", will be completed in February when he finishes his current tour with OZZY OSBOURNE.
Zombie has not announced what his next live-action feature will be, although he has said it will "not be a horror film."
