Thank you for honoring an Interview with us here at SHERIMOONBOARDS.COM and for answering some of the questions that have been stewing in your fans minds.  We hope you can stop by and visit us, we would love to have your presence on the boards.

Again Thanks, in advance. We all wanted to congratulate you on your new TOTAL SKULL Clothing Line...IT ROCKS!   Now on to those questions:

Why did you choose not to dance on the Educated Horses tour?

I didn’t dance on the educated horses tour (sadly) because I just started up total skull and was way to busy to leave and go on the road. I miss dancing so much though!!!

How did Total Skull become a reality?

Total skull became a reality by just “doing”. I thought of the name on a trip with friends while discussing arts and entertainment. I have always wanted a clothing line and finally found time in my schedule to get it going. There was about 4 -5 months of a lot of boring, tedious work to get the company started, but working on the designs saved my sanity!!!

What is with the phrase “Total Skull”?  Did you make it up or does it mean something?

The phrase “total skull” to me means awesome, rad the best of the best.

What do you think you'd be doing with your life if you weren’t an actress, dancer and designer?

If I wasn’t an actress, dancer or designer, I have absolutely no idea what I would be doing with my life-maybe making cupcakes and cookies and selling them!!! I make yummy ones.

As far as your career goes, what other things would you like to try?

Career wise, I always wanted to voice an animated character and lucky for me I just got the opportunity to do that by working on the Haunted World of El Superbeasto voicing Suzi X. (so freakin’ fun!!!)

Got any stories about some of the crazy sh*t you've seen over the years while touring or filming?

I have soooo many stories of the crazy sh*t I’ve seen on the road touring over the years…I don’t know where to begin. Besides all the groupie stories, we did see some sort of alien fog onetime driving in the middle of the night. The bus pulled over and we were just looking at this circle of fog for about 5 minutes, then it disappeared-it was a long time ago, so I don’t remember too many details. (kooky!!)

Any crazy fan stories?

I don’t really have any “crazy” fan stories-all the fans are awesome, there are some that actually have tattoos of me, I guess that is kinda crazy and cool 

What kind of music/bands are you into these days?

As far as music/bands that I’m into now, I really love rob’s educated horses cd-it’s in my car now and I always listen to it!!!

If you and Rob could make your own Zombiefest, what bands/singers would you like to join y'all to make the *perfect* concert?

 If Rob and I could make our own Zombiefest what bands would we have? Well, I would have to consult with him on that one-he is the mind to answer that one!!!

What is your favorite city to visit?

My favorite city to visit is Chicago with NYC as a super close second!!!

What are some of your pet peeves/ turn offs? Turn offs: narcissism, liars

What is something you absolutely love that no one would expect from you?

Well, I love to bake, I guess some people might not expect that!!!

Do you ever get asked the same questions over and over again and just want to punch the interviewer in the face? lol

I rarely have the desire to punch anyone in the face – hahaha – I don’t mind answering the questions!!!

 If you could co-star with any actors and actress, who would they be and what kind of character would you like to play?

 There are so many people I would like to work with. Let’s go with Gene Wilder in some kinda comedy, I like Goldie Hawn-I would love to work with her

Is that you whispering on Living Dead Girl, "What are you thinking about?" Do you want the song means?

It is not me on living dead girl whispering. I know what the song means, but I’m not giving up the dirt-you’d have to ask rob!!! 

How and where did you and RZ meet?

 I met rob at the famed toad’s place in new haven, ct. we met through a mutual friend!!!

You have said that you met Rob after being introduced to him by a mutual friend. How did you feel knowing that you were going to be introduced to Rob Zombie?

I really didn’t know who he was when I met him, I never heard of white zombie, so I had no anticipation

Did you do any acting as Kitty Moon or was that just a character for the show?

 Kitty moon sort of started as my first clothing line!!! I had made a logo design because I loved the combination of words, and some crew guys on tour just started calling me kitty-it didn’t stick though and I’m glad. I like my name Sheri!!!

Why did you switch your name to Sheri Moon?

 I think Sheri Moon had a good sound to it, and when I got married I changed it to Sheri Moon Zombie, which has an even better sound I think!!!

Are you going to continue acting?, if so, then will it only be horror movies?

I hope to continue acting!!! I am open to any genre of film 

What’s your top 5 horror movies of all time?(other then HOATC's and TDR's)

Top 5 horror movies of all time: 1. Frankenstein 2. The shining 3. Exorcist (the original) 4. Ya know, this is a question I do hate answering because I love so many movies, some days I like one better than another

 Did you realize how much of an impact you be on the horror movie world while playing Baby Firefly? I didn’t know I had such an impact.

Who is your favorite director of all time?, and Robs too?

 My favorite director of all time is the one I’ve worked with the most-Rob Zombie.

I know you did the intro to Rob Zombie's Hellbilly Deluxe album. Are there any other Rob Zombie songs that you've been featured in?

Well, I don’t really remember, I go into the studio when he records and if there is something for me to do, I do it-I know I didn’t do anything for educated horses

You've appeared in over 20 music video's of Rob's, and in each and everyone, you're dancing. Do you choreograph everything yourself?

 Well, I don’t think I dance in every one of Rob’s videos, but when I do, yes I choreograph everything with the exception of the electric head video, where I am dressed as a Las Vegas showgirl, me and the other girls, and I think a guy on the crew, choreographed our moves!!!

Is there any chance of you and Rob coming to Australia or the UK for the Educated Horses tour?

 As of now, rob has no plans for UK or Australia.

I have noticed you wear wigs in some of the videos? Are you your own stylist and pick your costumes yourself for the video shoots? Whose idea was it for you to be a mermaid and a cheerleader in Numb?

Yea, I love wearing wigs-dressing up!!! It gets you into character. Sometimes I pick my stuff for videos, but there is always a stylist on shoots that brings clothes in for me to pick from. I believe rob wanted me to dress up as a mermaid, and I had the cheerleader idea because we were doing that on tour already.

How did it come to be that you appeared in the videos and films? Did Rob ask you or did you volunteer?

Rob asked me to be in  the first video he directed “feed the gods”.

I know you have said you do not sing, but it sounds like your voice on Two-Lane Blacktop and Girl on Fire--at least to me. Is that your voice?

 Nope-I don’t sing-wish I could!!!

Sheri-What are your expectations for El Superbeasto and Rob's version of Halloween? How did you feel when you found out he was doing these films?

 I don’t have any expectations for the films, I just hope to do good work, and hope others like it too!!!

Are you planning on getting more into voiceovers? Did you enjoy doing the voice for Suzie X?

I would love to do more voiceover work!!! Suzi x was amazing to do-very loud and nasty!!!

How did you come up with the voice for Suzi X?

 I just read the script and hung out in my backyard talking and shouting outloud until I found her voice.

 Do you ever want to have children? Nope-no kids here!!!

How many siblings do you have? I have one younger brother

What did you major in during school?

I didn’t really major in anything at school. I liked Spanish class!!! I briefly went to ct. school of broadcasting (I wanted to be an MTV VJ when it was cool, not totally plastic and mainstream like it is now)

What’s your favorite film of all time?

 Fav film of all time? Well, I can tell you that I’ve seen a Christmas story more than any other film – I love it!!! I also love Wizard of Oz.

What is your favorite song of all time?

Fav song of all time? Hmmmmm…..don’t know, different ones on different days, today I miss my husband so an Elvis song “I want you, I need you, I love you”

What was your most embarrassing moment?

 My most embarrassing moment?  I have no freakin’ idea, I am constantly embarrassed, I’m a total clutz!!!

What do you and Rob have planned for the future?....ie: more movies etc.

Rob and I have lots of plans, first and foremost is to relax when he gets off the road for a few days-maybe go to Mexico!!! Then more fun work stuff, touring and another movie in the fall!!!

Imagine if you weren't where you are right now. Imagine you never met rob zombie, and never appeared in his videos and movies...

What do you think you would be doing if none of that ever happened?

I have no idea what I would be doing. I am totally organized, so maybe I would be one of those people that comes to your house and unclutters it!!!

Do you have any other talents that we might not know about? (example can you burp the alphabet?)

Well, I  am double jointed in my fingers, which is pretty neat, but not a talent!!!

What was your favorite cartoon growing up? Why?

Fav cartoon growing up? Hmmm…I guess Scooby doo. I liked the scary stuff, and their wacky adventures

Do you ever sometimes get sick of the whole celebrity lifestyle and just want to pull the sheets over your head and stay in bed all day?

Well, I will tell you, I don’t live my life like some big celebrity!!! On Sundays, I usually do just hang out and watch movies and eat pizza and junk food all day!!! It’s not like I get all dolled up every day and attend fabulous parties-what a bore that would be!!! I enjoy creating and working!!!

Do you ever get annoyed by all the emails you get on my space?

I love that people are on my myspace-I think it’s great, I really try to answer all the emails too!!!

On your days off, what do you enjoy doing for the day? What are your hobbies?

On my days off I like to see movies, shop, go out for sushi…get together with friends and barbeque.

Do you live a Hollywood lifestyle or do you stay away from the hype?

Definitely stay away from the hype!!!

Do you have contact with people from your past or still keep contact with old friends?

I keep in touch with a couple people that I went to high school with. I’ve lived out in California for so many years now, I have an extended family out here for sure!!!
